My fresh water tank is full so much so, that I cannot get any more in. The level indicator light shows empty...!!
I suspect the level sensor/float is faulty. How do I check this? and is it a straightforward job to change it?

First thing is to check that the terminals are clean, bright and making good contact.

This is exactly what happened to my sensor over the winter. I traced the cable from the tank and came across a 6 pin connector box.
Split the box cleaned all the terminals reconnected and bingo all back to normal.

I had the same problem recently. Situated very near to the fresh water tank you should find a white plastic 6 wire connector. Open up the connector by pulling apart and clean the wire connectors that have oxidised. A squirt of WD40 up em does them good.::bigsmile:
