hi everybody my names mick im new to the site I have a problem with my fridge when I switch it on 240 the electric trips I was toldby a friend to put on a separate plug and try it again with no success I live in the rochdale area and im not sure where to take it because I have noticed that motorhome fridges are quiet expensive and I havent a clue whats wrong with it I hope somebody out there can help the wife doesnt want to use it till its fixed thanks mick

If I had to guess, I reckon the element has gone. If you are not good at fixing things you need to find a dealer.

Welcome to Fun, Mick.

The element gets moisture in it a trips each time you put on.
try using it on gas for a few days may dry out and be ok.

thanks for getting backto me i tried putting on gas yesterday I cant tell wether its lighting or not on my fridge it starts with 240 then 12v then gas each time you try to push 240 it blows the mains mick

try using it on gas for a few days may dry out and be ok.
I have done that with a couple of fridge's after a long layup in the winter & it worked a treat, sparky said there's a powder inside the element that can absorb moisture.

When on gas you should be able to hear it from the outside.
Don't need 240v.
