As we are downsizing soon to a PVC we have been looking at all our accessories in the motorhome to find the most space saving products that work well. Having heard some good feedback about the Colapz watering can & spotted it at just £12.35 delivered we have ordered this one https://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Flopro-70308006-5060396791925-Colapz-Watering-Can to give it a go - Paypal payment option gives some buyer protection too although FFX are a large reputable company. Although it is branded as Flopro & aimed at the gardening market we have checked with Colapz & it is the same food grade product that they sell on their website so safe for drinking water (y)

Flopro_70308006.jpg

It is only in blue at that price but Colapz are clearing their stock of this 2 in 1 watering can at £20 delivered (in their full range of colours) on their website as they are bringing in an updated model but this is likely to be much dearer. If you do order from here https://colapz.co.uk/collections/al...Rvb5M0_Hpnddv_PB-t0KmsE41-QbIdrBoC2tgQAvD_BwE then use code TRUD10 at checkout for 10% discount across their range bringing the 2 in 1 watering can to £18 delivered :)

Colour range - fun & funky but we have suggested to Colapz that a grey or maybe dark blue might blend better with other motorhoming accessories:

This is one of the many videos of Colapz products (the blue 2 in 1 is at 5.53) - this one from a caravanners point of view:

We've a blue one, essential piece of kit for us now. The watering can spout is a little short so I extend it with a piece of hose. The bucket is our drinking water supply.

Good to know that & thank you for the tip (y) Mr Wombles did think that if the spout accessory could be wider it would make topping up the tank quicker but then he can be a bit impatient!

Used a watering can for years but did not know about a collapsible one, looks just the job and have used FFX before so for £12 delivered just ordered one.

Cheers Andy.

I carry one of these in the PVC

Only £5 from Wilco. Used for grey waste when don’t want to move, used to wash clothes in (even at shower blocks the sinks are usually too low for me and usually no plug), used to dunk my head in to wash hair, used to give the van windows a quick wash over and so on.
I wish I had room for one of those watering cans but I think I will have to continue to use my 5litre water container which lives in the washroom.

That's a good price for a collapsible bucket especially if 10 litres - might get one of those for the grey waste outlet (y) If not near a Wilko then Kampa one looks similar at £6.98 delivered here for smaller 5 litre version https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kampa-fo...620264&hash=item466a3637b8:g:MO8AAOSwg7VZos4p
Summit 10 litre version in green or blue here for £4.99 plus £1.99 delivery
Anyone going to the upcoming CCM Show at the NEC should be able to pick one up there too as usually a Kampa & other accessories stands.

Thanks guys for the info. I broke the spout on my filler container just yesterday so ordered the watering can and then noticed my waste collapsing bucket had sprung a leak so just ordered one from Wilko - we’ll pleased. Cheers.

Ours arrived today - speedy service & well packed from FFX via Royal Mail (y) It is as described & pours well so better than we expected with the hand hold in the base making it very controllable. The colour is a more muted blue than in the photo & video above but prefer that - did try to take photos but colour not true in them either. It packs down into a small neat parcel so definitely a big space saving compared to a rigid watering can or carrier. It feels like a tough well made product & at just £12.35 delivered it's great value :)

Just checked the link & although FFX had more than 20 in stock yesterday they have sold out now - hope Funsters got them?! Next cheapest is an eBay tool seller at £14.24 with 2 in stock, Amazon seller at £14.81 Amazon product ASIN B01B88K25U with 4 or all colours on Colapz website as detailed above for £18 with code.

Can you get the watering can close enough to the van to fill the tank. Is the spout long enough? Thanks

Have only tried it indoors so far but seems quite a directional stream of water - @WillH has added a short length of hose to theirs. Mr Wombles likes to use our HEOSwater fitting so will probably modify his existing bit of hose with Hozelock attachments if using the watering can as it is seems less efficient.

FFX will have more stock in the week commencing 26 February but can't be sure that the price will be as low as before.

I just used a bit of spare corrugated waste pipe I found in the shed. Fits over the spout.
