Our heater will ignite, build up speed as it heats up but when it reaches temperature as set on the thermostat, the green light dims as it should according to the manual but then 2 seconds later turns red and shuts down and then will not re-ignite for a considerable time. I thought it was a thermostat/switch problem and bought a new switch (spares very hard to get now for Carvers) but same thing happens so problem not with the switch. Any ideas anyone?
There is a company mentioned on several forums, who apparently bought all Carver spares when they were bought by Truma, called arcsystems of Nottingham but they don't answer phone or email so I don't know if still in business. Anyone dealt with them lately?
