Anyone got a recipe for the above?

Thanks

ShiftZZ

I don't think you'll find it Dave since it's a "protected" recipe. Created by a great "chef"!

The only think you might find is some simplified recipe trying to taste like it . When i tried to find it for you last year the only indication i had (since i don't know this cake myself, neither do the women of my family.... must be a northen chef:RollEyes:)was that carrefour had one called the same but not tasting the same .... so didn't see the point of copying the recipe. I suppose you want the same cake not the same name::bigsmile:

The problem is even when i searched on recipes sites, french forums etc... as i don't know the look of it nor the taste of it , couldn't even know which recipe could give the right taste/look....:Doh:

Can't help you this time:cry::cry:i'm sorry!....

You'll forgive me won't you Dave::bigsmile::winky:???????

Affectueusement

Hi Dave!

This is one of the forum on which i happened to know that it was supposed to be a protected recipe

http://www.recette-dessert.com/forums/ftopic452.php

BUT found that today!! (must admit i was a bit upset i couldn't find a way to have that b****y recipe:Blush::RollEyes:)

I hope it is the one you're looking for cause people are a bit confused/confusing with that cake.

Try to have a go with google translation and if it doesn't make any sense or if you just need a better translation than i'll find some time to translate it but please in the mean time could you find the equivalences between english and metric measures! That bit drives me crazy !:Blush::Blush:

That sounds lovely for a chocaholic! - and made with ground almonds and only 15g of flour, will be very light. Though would also have thought more than 8 portions LOL

Not familiar with two of the ingredients, the praline one and the feuillete one, but they give you the website. Would be interested to know what those turn out to be!

And of course whether the whole caboodle is successful.

Yummy!!!

Yummy!!!

There is but one chocolate gateau - seek out Selva Nera.

It takes a week to recover from a good portion. It is advised that a defibrillator is kept on standby.

Strange, but we discovered it in Porthmadog. Then had one hand built on Lake Maggiore.

Must put it on the Must Do list for Garda this year.

Did Kathy find some time to try it ? If so was it a success? I guess the 8 portions became a 2 portions and even 1 and 1/2 (1/2 supposed to be the best half for.... better half:ROFLMAO:)
