Driving home from our first trip out in Nelly, it was raining and we found that the passenger seat is so high that your eye-line is above the sweep of the windscreen wiper.

It's a 2006 Nuevo on a Peugeot Boxer base.

Anyone else had this problem and found a fix for it, please?

On our Nuevo, the problem we had with the high seats was the sun visor, turn it down and I couldn't see out, which was a bit of a problem.

I think the Nuevo uses the cab seats to make up the bed length .. If you lower the seats you would need infill cushions to level the sleeping area.

Can you lower the seat base and retain the turning mechanism? I have a feeling that a pal with a panel van had problems with that. I think his original base had been completely replace by the turner.

You could always be cut into 3 and just have the centre piece left out to make you shorter ...

When we had a 2001 Autocruise Starfire the drive seat was too high, so I couldn't use the seat adjustments. So I took the seat off the swivel base and removed the seat adjustment part and fitted the seat straight on to the swivel base.
This may work on yours.

eight years in theory, a newby in practice!!!
How about winding your neck in?

No seriously we've got a Vuevo on our short list, our only reservation is the short single beds.
Is it true that in a later version the van's been 'stretched' from 5.44 metres to 5.7metres making the need to use the driver and passenger seat as part of the bed unnecessary? The transverse bed doesn't really appeal to us as it's been a few years since me Mrs has had the desire to climb all over me in the middle of the night:LOL:

It's amazing what an inch or so can make...

...or perhaps not .

All I know is that I had WildAx put the lowered seat boxes in my Citroen and the driving position & sightlines are now really comfortable.
As I understand it, the low box just compensates for the extra height the swivel mechanism adds - so that the seat is back in it's original position as (expensively) designed & intended by the vehicle manufacturers.
Not a cheap option (just under £300 for the two fitted) but for me - worth every penny.
