The only camping ground in Paris is in Bois de Boulogne, not cheap but good connections to the centre.

I'll third that.
It was really quiet apart from a slight noise of passing traffic - not a problem if you can get a pitch near the canal.
Large pitches too - we felt like renting out part of ours ::bigsmile:

A great International atmosphere and a bus takes you to the nearest Metro station. It was a euro, but may be more now.

We used Bois de Boulogne last summer and found it excellent for bus connections as it stops right outside the camp ground.

It has dumping facilities for both motorhome and RV and pitches available for 40 footers, although they cram as many in as possible into the camp.

If you go to this site make sure you have a sat nav because you will be driving on the inner ring road of Paris and into the central area, but it is easy enough as we did it in an RV using the Ventura Snooper.

The bus takes you to a stop adjacent to the subway and taxi rank, and is a 15 minute brisk walk to the attractions.
