Thanks all. As you can imagine we're over the moon with it. Am l the only person who hates the process of hunting for a replacement van? Last time we knew exactly what we wanted down to make & model. This time we knew the must-haves in terms of layout and my preference was for a true auto. I was pretty certain that until we found the Le Voyager we'd find the layout but not the auto. Happy days - got what we wanted :D.

Getting Better
Nice....(y)

Compromise, nothing’s perfect and it makes us try new things.....:D

But I’d like a better auto too....:D2

Congratulations, super MH and I’m sure you’ll have many happy miles.

My wife and I fell in love with the quality of the Le Voyageur’s at the nec last year; so much so I was almost tempted to bite the bullet! However, we are enjoying our current MH and decided we would wait until we are ready, rather than losing a boat load in depreciation; gosh I must be getting older and wiser!!

That's one of the best quality vans on the market IMO.

Great purchase(y)

Excellent! I had that on 'watch' too. Lovely looking thing, but wrong drivers side for me. Couldn't quite work out the bathroom layout and closing off!

Posting to say I bought this today:

Seems like a quiet part of the site :).
I looked at that one on Saturday when I took my own Le Voyageur in for a few bits to be fixed. Very nice van indeed and Hayes Leisure are a good dealer. Le Voyageur are a very good brand.

Merc 519 with full autobox and one tonne payload - what’s not to like.....

Same as mine from what I recall. The two doors make a large van width bathroom when closed

That's it. Not too obvious from the inside either. It has the biggest shower I've seen in a European mh.

not long enough
from your smiley I think you know, but ours was stood around as a demonstrator for a couple of years, then only did 2000 miles in its first thee years ownership before us, I think that caused a lot of our issues, the biggest one being the turbo delaminated inside and failed, but only partially, engine management issues for nearly 12 months before it became undriveble

All now sorted and behind us, Mercedes 3.0 makes a great engine gearbox combination, we have since been down to Spain and up to top of Norway (y) now on 40K miles :)

I wasn't being facetious (this time) l had forgotten. I have a potted history: bought from Hayes, driven to Spain where its owner has a property, owner had a heart attack from which he has recovered but can no longer renew C1, mh eventually brought home by his son & sold back to Hayes. It comes with 12 months guarantee from Hayes. I'll keep my fingers crossed.:D
