Spend the last of your money just before you pass on so that the kids don't get it. :Eeek:

Live and enjoy to the full, whatever rocks your boat.

Best advice I was given this is life not a rehearsal so go for it.

Play Centre Mid for Everton FC, but then I'm too old for that already.

Would have loved to have represented England in the Olympic 400 Metres, again, too old for that now. God there has to be something ?.

Maybe diving in the Caribean.

Good question.

In my case I long hankered after a Caterham 7 in my more youthful days. Not such a wild and ridiculous dream as some may think as financially they are within the reach of an average income earner. I once had chance of first refusual on one (in bits and less engine) for £2000, but had neither the 'readies' or available space at the time and the guy was desperate to sell quick.

Now i'm too old to enjoy something like that plus having arthritic problems, no doubt not helped by years of 'car tinkering'!

Secondly......with the benefit of hindsight I would say get a damn good pension sorted as early as possible, whack off as much as you can to get the mortgage down, never ever take on finance of any kind (apart from a mortgage), and aim for retirement at 50. 65 is far too late no matter how fit or healthy you might be. And if you marry......just hope and pray that it doesn't go down the pan, because if it does.....so will your financial 'planning' and early retirement will simply become fantasy.

Nonsense, Brian. We've been lucky and had lots of fun, so the best thing to do must be to die doing something that's still fun.

As someone said , don't die wondering. (This is the safety lock, isn.................

Is going out with a bang allowed??

Of course, dying with a grin on your face will leave a lot of folks wondering.

Canadian Rockies would be amazing...i`m sure !! :thumb:

Don't wait - do it soon. :thumb:

We're on our 5th Canadian trip this summer. Went for the first time in 2000 and fell in love with it.

Want to see the great wall of China before we get too old.

I would like to ride what is left of Route 66 ( yer I know.. total cliche ! ),

Wanna exceed 205 MPH on a bike ( currently the fastest I have been was on a turbo'd bored out blackbird .. through the lights at 204.98 .. What a bum  )

But most of all to win a big money prize so I could retire and be able to fill the van up with diesel when ever I wanted to without concern

How true that is - when my mum died some 15 years ago there was all sorts of strange things we found wrapped up one was a collection of old postcards and sister and I wondered whether to skip them or get them valued - we had a day spare so hawked them round a few specialist shops - got over £200 for them there was also a few small antiques and I called in to a local auction house to get them valued and they went through the boxes and put nominal value on all items until they got to a couple of old tatty broken wooden picture frames which I had left in the box - you would have thught they were bars of gold the way they reacted all the other bits fetched about £50 but the tatty old frames that nearly kept the fire going fetched over £1000 serious money 15 years ago :Eeek:

I think i'm a bit younger than most on here and have always been afraid of one thing.
DRUGS
All of my friends have done this but not me,never not ever so I decided a while ago that when I reach my last days i'm gonna try coccaine or wacky baccy or whatever else may be flavour of the day but i'm definately gonna try something. Would hate to go out and not know what i'm missing.
Probably not what most people would like to hear on here but thats what I aim to do.:whatthe:
