I have Heosafe locks fitted to my Fiat 2003 2,8JTD,

Does anyone know if they fit (or made to fit) the new style Fiat 2009 (2.3JTD) doors ?

Thanks

They will not fit.
New Fiat/Peugeot Vans have a deadlocking system as part of the central locking.
Press remote once to lock, indicators flash once, then press remote twice again central locking clicks in, indicators flash three times. But then you may already know all that.

Many thanks.

We are to shortly to upgrade to new Fiat Rapido and will have many things to learn that are different to our old 2003 model.

Hopefully not TOO many things one can get into quite a :Eeek: when discussing the newer Fiats !!

No they don`t fit I had the same problem when i changed my 2005 Ducato to a 2008 one,the new cab is totally different.

I ended up getting new ones fitted to the new motor-home, really impressed with the locks. Feel much safer in the van when wild camping knowing that my cab doors are secure.

Thanks,

Where did you get them ? I have searched the internet and the Heosafe locks seem to stop the fittings after 2005.

Hi Tony
Sent you a PM.
Don't suppose you would like to sell the old set of Heosafe locks?
I think they would fit my 96 Ducato.
Best

Nick
