Yes I bloody would.

Bought some specs from the pound shop a few months ago, the arm has just fallen off, would you have the cheek to take them back?

Please no tight fisted Yorkshireman jokes:LOL::D2

Just bought a replacement pair of varifocals.
Top of the frame snapped, so I superglued them, carefully. Came undone once more so out with the superglue again. This time frame to lens. That won't shift!
It didn't. The frame snapped again together with the lens.
Had the others 2 years so I wasn't TOO upset.

John's brother left his reading glasses in the pub when he visited Hull (he lives in Leeds) after phone call. they had been found, going to pick them up, and jiffy bagging them to him, discovered they were from the pound shop Grrrrr, true yorkshireman he is, had a stroke and got the bus to A&E as he could use his bus pass. He is very generous at other times though.

I hate to mention this, but if you divide the number of posts you've made into the amount you've paid in subscription fees since you joined MHF it's cost you around 6p just to open this thread :)

I noticed the price at specsavers. And it was a lot more than a pound

Recently when I was passing our local Specsavers they were having a sale. 'Frames from only £24.99' that is a bit minty for me but I thought I should spoil myself and buy myself some nice reading glasses. The girl showed me these £24.99 frames and they were identical in quality as the Pound Shop reader and not nearly as good as my usual £10 quiders - including lens - Rip Off
