Hi there, does anyone have any recommendations for campsites/aires on the way down to Twin Lakes. We have 4 nights before we arrive at our destination. We are also fetching our dog. We will be avoiding the tolls and gmaps says 10 and a half hours so a nice bimble down over 4 days :)
Thanks
Mike and Nic.

Depending on your route down to Souméras, there are thousands of Aires to choose from. Pick one from the book which suits yours and the dogs needs.

We've stayed in the past at Neufchâtel-en-Bray, Châteaudun, Nieuil L'Espoir, Soubise and Mortagne sur Gironde which are not necessarily in route order. Part of the fun for us, is finding an Aire we haven't stayed at before.

We've also stayed at this Aire a few times both heading south and coming back North.

Another nice one we have stayed at is staying Clerac, stayed there on more than one occasion and always for more than one night. It's by a small lake, but be aware the water is turned off in the winter but not in the toilet on the aire. Lovely dog walking. Details in All the Aires book.
