Sealing Windscreen rubbers. (1 Viewer)

Windscreen Sealant, what do you use, what does the trade use. Glassfiber bodied van and the screen seal is leaking. In the past I have noticed that even in a hot summer the water behind the leaking seal remains so is the sealant that will work underwater and bond the rubber to the fiberglass or does the windscreen have to come out.

Hi Roger, try decorators caulk it will take a few days to set but is water soluble so will stick :thumb:

Well, windscreen sealant. It's a bit like black Bostik.

Though I may be out of touch these days.
