Following on from theBroken Link Removed. And after this mornings porridge, I must tell you about the great saucepans Siân bought home from Tescos last month. The lid handle folds and the handle is detachable, which means you can have a full set of saucepans and lids taking up less than the space of just one regular pan. Light and non stick too. Perfect for the motorhome. Not normally my department, but a hearty thumbs up (y)

Now you sparked my interest, I cannot find anything like you describe on the Tesco website. Search strings like Pans, Pan set, only come up with a budget 3 pan set (Currently unavailable):(

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
We’ve had an older version of these tefal non stick pans in bottle green , for years. From our caravanning days. We still use them in Pug.
In fact we saw the pans above in Tesco when in Hull waiting to get the ferry to Brugge a couple of weeks ago. They had them out on display. Good quality.

Not normally my department, but

Sit down Mr Brown and relax, we'll just have a little chat.

Now, have you noticed any other odd symptoms lately ? Perhaps you are finding that those fluffy slippers, that have languished in the wardrobe for years, suddenly very comfortable.

Are you finding a liking for cocoa in a mug more enjoyable then smoked ?

Do you find that you go to bed a lot earlier than you used to ?

Is Mrs Brown smiling as much as she used to ?

Take you time and think about your answers and, by the way, what is your opinion on a pipe ?

Excellent! Wife bought a set 5 years ago in Auchan, they were doing a loyalty stamp offer on them and she got them lass than half price. Excellent still going strong and non stick coating as good as new. French made I think. To stop movement wearing the nonstick surface put them with the rubber lids in the base of the larger sized one before you stack them. There is also a wok in the series that fits into the stack.

We have them too and love them. They seem to be a bit cheaper in French supermarkets. We bought the set with two frying pans snd three pots. They can also go in the oven which can be useful.

Absolutely a dash of salt. However, I've been advised not to put salt in anything (HBP) and it's taken me nearly 5 years to accept it but I have but doesn't taste as good.
I now use Pink Himalayan Salt. Better than the chemical type and a lot saltier so using lots less.
Bugger the HPB, back to putting salt in.

Coming from Scottish parents and brought up on Porridge Oats nearly every day in winter, the thought of having it without a pinch of salt is a No No! without that slight pinch of salt it just doesn't taste right!, Ok add sugar on top, or Honey, or milk, even my fav which is clotted cream, and you cant go wrong.
My Scottish relatives have porridge ev ery day summer & winter, most have it dry, and even add more salt! But then they also have Mince & Tatties 5 nights a week also, Fish supper one night & a Chinese Take OOT the other....so predictable, but they will never change, bless em.

Gotta luv this place...
Have been contemplating getting some Tefal Ingenio pans for quite a while but never quite got my wallet out.
After reading the first few posts, I went to look at Amazon and found what I thought was a reasonable 17 piece package deal for £109.
Stuck it in my wanted list... then got the humph because the price had gone up to £112, so I thought I'd wait to see if the price fell again for Black Friday...

However, this thread has moved on, with even more recommendations for these pans... but with the advice that they are much cheaper in France.
Rats, I don't travel to France :(. Certainly not in the immediate future.

But another thread about buying a mobile from Amazon's Italian site made me wonder about Amazon.fr
Yup, exactly same set for Euro 73.40
Ok, so it's a special one day offer - but I snapped it up... €82.85 inc delivery... less than £75 saving at least £35.
Well chuffed :D2
Amazon.fr Tefal Ingenio Pan set
Offer expires 11pm Friday

*for comparison - Amazon's UK site price:

Are the ones from tescos for an induction job. I’ve seen them around at different places but not for induction. We’ve bought a 13 piece set using the CMCs 50% discount. It was £270 and we paid £135 but the price is for a 13 Piece induction set of pans. The pans are really good and can be used in the oven and they stack away so neatly. Excellent buy. I wouldn’t have paid £270 for induction pans but at £135 they were a bargain.

You absolutely cannot make porridge without salt, it's the law.
I'm definitely missing out then, never felt the need to add salt to porridge, sugar yes but not salt!!!

We looked at the Tefal Ingenio range of pans some time ago Helen, but didn't go ahead with them, as they we couldn't find an induction friendly set. Maybe we should have waited a bit. :(

We bought these instead.
