Thanks for loading this :thumb:but how do I use it? I have just got a Garmin and the POI loader says that it requires .csv files. The zip contains .asc files can these be easily converted.

Ohh dear, sorry, my mistake, I don't use Garmin, I thought it used asc files.. :Doh:

I'll look and see if I can find the .csv file..

I've PMed Jim to remove the file from the Garmin list ..

For Garmin, you need to have POI files in one of two formats:

.csv which is a generic format
.gpx which is a Garmin proprietary format

Both file types can be loaded together (different data files obviously, not duplicates of the same information) and if you want to use an icon to display on the Garmin at the POIs, it should be a bitmap of 22x22 pixels dimension and called the same name as the file.
e.g. ASV.csv and ASV.bmp
