Well....

I have spent the best part of the weekend under the Rv....

Thought I'd look at fitting the Air Ride units today....

They went on like a dream....

Took the original Rebound/Bump stops off and assembled the units....

Can't believe how thick and solid the chassis is though...

Just got to make up the mounting plates for the Schrader valves ...

Looking forward to trying her out when the valves are fitted and Units inflated....

I could not believe how well they went on...

I was expecting a real challenge this time...Beautiful day...Too good really but had to make the most of it...

i also fitted mine on the cheyenne today, managed to do it wth out even jacking the van up, got my rather large belly stuck a few times on the skirts::bigsmile:,
i fitted a twin inflation gauge and secured all the pipes and air bags in about 4.5 hours i just have the rod for the brake to ajust, but as you say not as hard to do as you think, what is the optimum pressuer for the air bags ?

Hy Freelanderuk,

I believe mine states not above 60psi or below 20 psi

I'll try initially at around 40 I think.I don't want a rock-solid ride...Just need to bring the body roll back into line...

Glad you sorted yours ok too.:thumb:

It's fun under there isn't it?

Steve.
