Looking to stay near Barcelona this coming Jan/Feb for about a week. But not on the Aires listed. My research into the most popular campsites show them as closed and I can't locate any which are open. Can any one assist please with an open campsite within easy cycle/bus/train ride to Barcelona please.
Thanks in advance.
Nik.

Many years
Sure you don't want to use an Aire?
We have used a couple of the camping sites north of the city, but it's a long trek in/out and they aren't very pretty to be honest.

Nowadays we always use the Camperstop Barcelona Aire.
Right in the city, totally secure, right close to the metro, wifi, all the services, quiet at night, open 365 days a year.
Was 30 euros per night, but I notice has gone up to 35 euros recently.

Bon repos at Santa Suzanna.
Right on the beach, Train stop is just outside the campsite gates, maybe 200/300 mtrs.
Cheap in Barcleona, takes abiut 50 mins from memory.

We stayed at camping masnou cross the road and 10 minutes walk your on the train, not the best site and not the cheapest but very easy.
Stayed at villa nova park a few times yes nice site but sunny pitches are normally full and can be very cold without sun that time of year, ;) and the cats wind our dog up. :D2

Be aware its not that warm Jan / Feb..
Had snow there one year as we passed by on the motorway.
So be prepared for it to be cool once the sun goes down and when walking in the city in the shade (y)
Get your gas sorted for the evenings..

Nice to see people take notice of reviews we have many good reviews on our apartment.
But I did say not the best site and not the cheapest but easy, and we have stayed at both, I would say you walk further on villa nova to get out the gate to the bus then it's a long journey, where as out the site turn left cross the road on the train and you come up the elevator in the city and could jump on one of the tour buses if you wished.
Easy to get into Barcelona ? Yes. Bob
