As one of many who travel to Europe with a pet , finding a good vet on the way back is one of our priorities.
On the site are a few postings, but why not score your favourite vets out of 5, which town they can be found in and the cost of getting the passport stamped.

:dogthanks:

We have only ever used one for the passport check in France and they are at Rue, easy parking a few miles from Le Crotoy aire and opposite Lidl and Aldi for last minute purchases. You can book an apppointment in the morning or just turn up after lunch. Although not the cheapest (about €35 for the appointment, so the same if you have two dogs), always nice thorough vets and good access.

5/5 for us

We use this Vet too - the aire is a short walk away, and the Vet speaks good english. We usually email for an appointment a couple of days before, it was 15 euros in July with our own wormer :)

Slightly off the thread but did you know that you dont need to buy your pets tablets etc from the vet-just a prescription---our old cats tablets (one per day)cost us £1 --I am now buying off internet same tablets for 40p ---that was 250% mark-up!! They should display a prominent notice apparently explaining this but dont!

I'm a bit wary of buying tablets over the net, you hear of them not being what they're supposed to be-i.e., fake and containing anything but the right things!

Both great if you're coming up the West coast on your way home.

Both bloody useless if you're coming from any other direction. (y):D2

Not if you buy from a reputable company.
