Cadic eazi chef (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a CADIC EAZI CHEF assembly which I have owned for about 6 years, put it away last year and everything was in working order (or thought it was). Took it out the other day to use for the first time this year and the thing will not work properly.

Symptons:

Reduced Gas pressure at the burn flame.

Yellow Flame, very little blue

Flame very smokey and sooty.

Things I have done so far:

Used seperate Gas Bottle (both 6Kg lights)

Replaced regulator for brand new 37Mb one.

Cleaned out all rubber hoses.

Cleaned out the CADIC regulator with an air hose.

Happens if CADIC is connected directly to the Gas Bottle or via the BBQ connection on the camper.

I am pretty mechanically minded but this one has got me baffled.

Anyone got any ideas or experienced anything like this?

sounds like a blocked main jet

don't laugh but sounds to me like a spider has woven a web inside the burner only a complete strip of the burner assembly and good blow out with an air line will solve that one. spider are also the main cause for Status antenna to stop working, well that and the fact they are crap anyway, hee hee

Yep I was going to say venturi I have an older one with blue venturi. I carry a few spares and a how to do the job is on Utube.

Personally I like my easy chef it packs away easily and really easy to keep clean.
