Can anyone recommend any machanic/ gargage for a full service and cambelt change on a fiat ducato 2.8td engine in South Croydon / Surrey/ area. Been to Fiat commercial who quoted around £1K too much Any infro much appreciated

Like the post above I to am not in your part of the would, I would suggest when you get the belt changed also get the tension pulley and the fan belt changed at the same time...

A bit further afield from you I know, but have a look at Essanjay based in Poole.
Full mechanical service and cam belt change is just under £500.
They specialise in motorhome servicing and I can personally recommend their services,
If you ask they will allow you to overnight outside their premisses.

I'm an oldbie MH number 10
have a look though some very recent threads. I had mine done and reccomended someone but a way from you Im afraid. But for 1k..... you could bring it up here, have it done, have a few nights away, a couple of meals out, and still have plenty of change.

1k my ass, that garage wants reporting to the dick Turpin society.

An A class has access problems and probably stretches the job another 20 - 30 minuets
