Anyone got a photo of Headlight protectors fitted to the X250 Ducato.
I have just bought some & the instructions are woeful at best.
Do the 2 plastic lugs fit between the light unit and the van bodywork as that option seems to be very tight in my case. Any assitance would be appreciated

Hi

I have an '09 Peugeot boxer whcih i beleive is all the same. The palstic lugs do slide in, you need to lift the bonnet and unscrew the small bodywork plate at the top of the light to hook the metal clasp whcih should be shaped to follow the contour of the edge of the light.

Plastic lugs at the bottom just press in, hook on the light cover first then push in. Yes they are tight

Hope this helps give us a shout if you need any help and I will PM you my mobile number

Cheers
G

Cheers Gary - I will give it another go later this week. I didn't want to press too hard to force the plastic pegs into place. (And yes the Boxer ones are the same - my set have the Puegeot logo on them )

Hi look at pics

1. Open bonnet, remove 2 x screwa and then remove bodywork plate.
2.Attach 2 x black clips to lens
3.Attach 2 x metalclips with screws

Then place lens into headlight at the bottom, once correct place bodywork plate back into place and replace the screws.

Job done

You can do it easier but this way means you do not get stressed:thumb:

Fitted the protectors this morning as per your instructions Gary. No problems apart from having to shave some plastic from the inner bottom "Peg" to allow it to clear a part of the headlight unit. Mine must be different from Sandj's as there were no screws involved other than for the upper cover plate.
Jobs a good un ::bigsmile:

Biting at the bit waiting for Newark - just need the weather to improve a bit & settle

Dick

The screws hold the body plate on, you do not need to remove the plate it just makes it easier.
