Just seen a couple of posts in which they're mentioned. What usually describes a foldaway then? I think someone mentioned a Ducati with one.
I'm trying to get as much info as I can before going to look at any MH's
thanks

Since 2005
most are made up from the seats....dinette and lounge.

dinette is usually slats that slide between the two seats...lounge are usually complete frames that pull out from the seats then rearange the cusions to suit.

as peter said, hymers and the like may have an overcab bed that pulls down from the roof.

i dont know of any that have a true 'foldaway to the wall' bed...they are mainly a caravan thing like in the thumbnails sequence below.

Hi Sue

Most vans have dining and or lounge seating that converts to a bed, this is probably what you refer to, some have a Luton bed over the cab and some have a Fixed bed in the rear .. much depends on the van size and whether a van conversion, called a B class , coach built C or A class .. there is a huge range and it can be a bit confusing at first, have a look here for descriptions.
