You have a choice of either stopping on the Ferry Ticket office car park, its safe and not too noisy and you will usually find at least another 20 motorhomes there.
The second place is the City De Europe, there is a motorhome parking area there.

The other places are either the Aire just on the right where the ferries come in or just up the road from that you will find a lot of vans parked opposite the marina on the car park there.

These days my choice is the Ferry Ticket office car park, safe and free.

Head for the Sans Billet area, do not get on to the dual carriageway or you will have to do a U turn at the A16 junction and drive back in to the port.
A somewhat sketchy map, hope it helps.

Calais overnight

Definitely use the ferry office car park. We generally take a late crossing and stop there then begin the drive through France the next day. When returning to England we often stop in that car park the night before catching a morning ferry. Only drawback is it is very light and all sorts of vehicles arrive at all sorts of times. In summer it can be very full and hard to find a space.
As you drive out of the port it is on the left at a roundabout; clearly signed when you look for it. First time it can be a bit worrying that you're going back to the ferry or that you can't get out again but I can find it so can't be that hard!
Good luck.

As you leave the ferry and aproach the sheds look for the signs for Centre Ville on your right, take this turning right to the roundabout and go left on it to double back almost to run parralel to the Ferry complex to the next roundabout.
You then head for the ferry terminal ticket office, it is the entrance before the passenger vehicle terminal and well signposted, just as if you were going to go back on the ferry but the entrance before.

You will see them all parked up here, no need to go right down to the office just park up at the top end where it is quieter opposite the security for the ferry.
If you google earth it you will see what i mean.

If you want a laugh you can go in the ticket office and see what they would to charge you for a ticket if you bought it there :ROFLMAO:

about £100 more than booking online
