Hi there, not too brilliant on the practical side of motorhoming, but once you have charged your battery I find that just driving my van for about half an hour a week during winter will keep the battery topped up and so far no problems, touch wood ..... and also keeps me all geared up too ready for Spring::bigsmile:::bigsmile: If you can't drive it but it is garaged or near a hook up you can buy a trickle charger I believe.

Good trickle chargers in Lidl this week, £12.99. I bought one when I realised my own charger is a one my father gave me when I was 20 cos' he'd bought a new one and his was pretty old then.

If you cant hook up, although you should give your van a run every week or so to keeps the wheels turning:thumb:

These will keep a charge going.

Peter

This device simply sits on the dashboard, connects to the 12V cigarette lighter socket and then sends a maintenance level of charge to the battery, helping prevent flat batteries.
Keep your battery topped up with solar power, even if the weather is overcast or dull
Ideal for cars, caravans, boats etc
Interchangeable connectors: cigarette lighter plug and crocodile clips
Blue flashing LED charge indicator
Durable ABS outer casing
Built-in diode prevents reverse charging
Suction cups for easy mounting
Designed to trickle charge 12V lead acid batteries
