Set off this morning to meander on way to the tunnel.
First stop free aire at Argenton Sur Creuse.
Big area, level, all hardstanding.
No water but toilet dump in town half a km away.
Not a bad town but a tad run down looking.

Watch this space!

Another free Aire at La Ferte Beauhanais today.
Aire alongside a small lake, hardstanding and level.
Gorgeous village with a couple of shops and a cycleway nearby!

Now at Forges Les Eaux, a favourite of ours.
Now €8 a night with dumps, water and electricity!

Nice town with lots of very French shops and a supermarket.
We think we will do two nights then on to Wissant ready for the tunnel on Tuesday.

Just arrived back after 16 days in the UK and perhaps 2500 kms over there... Felt as if the van was shaken to bits at times, the roads are shocking in places, motorways included...

Hope you've got a thick fleece, it was bloody cold the whole time we were there, never above 12 C more often about 8 C... Thankfully it has convinced SWMBO that now is not a good time to be going back...

As for Muslims, I didn't see any though we did have a chat with a guy from the Czech republic, he was a waiter in an Indian restaurant, the only Indian restaurant I've been to where there wasn't one person from an Asian background, only white Brits and a Czech including the chefs... I hadn't heard that the Asians were leaving as well

Uneventful journey though except for half hour delay at Tunnel!
