Well what a Christmas we have had

On Christmas Day 18 of us sat down to dinner in a huge caravan awning with a MASSIVE thunderstorm raging overhead! We were all sat with our feet in water! Had a great time though! I'll put some photos on when I get chance!

We think there was a lightning strike quite close to our van and Ray & Joan (rayv8) and Stephen and Lesley (steles). SCARY!!! Luckily we were having our dinner on the other side of the site.

Three of us had problems after the storm - with fridges, tv's inverters, satellites etc etc!

We've been out of action since then due to the storm which knocked out the wi-fi and tv on site - also managed to wreck our tv!!!!

The campsite owners are still trying to get the wi-fi fixed on the site but have put in a temp router in the bar so at least now we can get on the net!!!:thumb::thumb: Will be at least a week on Monday before we have wi-fi in our vans.
The owners are bending over backwards to help us out - they are really great!

Cable TV is back on in part of the site.

Hi Marie,

That certainly was an eventful Xmas, and no doubt one you will never forget.
I hope your situation and those of the other Funsters improves soon and some normality returns.
