Can't see why not, we have run our petrol on several occasions to keep the girls cool in the back.

I would have a good look at it first to ensure that the exhaust fumes cant make there way back in to the camper whilst driving.
I assume you have a monoxide detector?

Yes we have a monoxide detector and the exhaust comes out the side by one of the pipes from the engine (which has one either side of the M.H) and the pipe from the genny slopes towards the back,, so will be safer than the huge engine exhausts. :thumb:

Hi, as in a previous post,we run our Onan regulary whilst traveling.
To run the aircon in summer and also we have a large electric chest freezer in one of the lockers which we use to trasport fish back from Norway in summer.
No problem at all,the Americans run with the genny running all the time.
Some highline coach convertions dont have gas, only electric,so they run the fridge freezer, airco, water boiler and everything else from the genny whilst on the move.:thumb:

::bigsmile: Yes Maurice. I ran our Petrol Genny to charge the Leisure and Motor batteries when the Alternator packed in and there wasn't enough power from the Solar due to the BAD weather. :thumb:

 Then the genny packed in. But that's another story. :ROFLMAO:
