Poole Ferry

Yes Poole Cherbourg ferry will be missed. Living in Poole it was an easy ferry to France to catch but their prices were far too high compared with LD Portsmouth. We stopped using BF about 3/4 years ago when LD restarted the LeHavre route at much lower prices than BF for a shorter route.
Unfortunately this is competition and a distinct advantage for we customers.
Before someone jumps in, yes we do have a mileage to do to Portsmouth but gain about 80 mile on the other side giving a net gain of 30 miles, this producing £15 fuel gain plus £135 lower fare..

Cheers Ron
