You'll find it elsewhere, but here's what you need to do:

Drain down the fresh and waste tank, and leave taps in open position..

Drain down the boiler - it should already have drained due to low temperature if it is a Truma.

Leave all taps open, and centred between hot and cold.

Empty the loo tank, partly re-fill with water and some blu.

Grease the cassette flap.

Empty the cassette!!

If you have a shower, remove the shower head and blow forcefully down the pipe until empty.

Lift the upholstery using spacers so that air can circulate.

Make sure roof vents are closed.

Fit winter covers (if you have them) to fridge and cooker vents.

Check the anti-freeze in the radiator.

If you are able, plug into the mains to keep batteries healthy.

That's about it::bigsmile:

I try to take mine out for a run once every couple of weeks as well, just to keep everything moving. If you cant do this and your drive is fairly level, leave the handbrake off and leave the van in gear or with the wheels chocked.

All I would add is:

You didn't mention the age of your van but you need to manually drain the boiler on older models (don't know about new ones).

Best thing for greasing the cassette flap is olive oil.

On older models (may have changed for newer ones) plugging into the mains will keep the leisure battery healthy but not the vehicle battery. I use a multi-stage charger (mine is the Tronic T4X from Lidl) from time to time if I can't give the van a run as often as I would like.

Our van is a 2003/4 Elddis Autoquest 100 which is basically the same as the Compass Avantgarde 100 so if yours is similar age please feel free to ask any questions by PM.
