Some help please folks

We need a complete new awning.

Do we go for

a) Fiamma 45ti with privacy room

or

b) Fiamma Zip which comes with a room that zips on.

Which is easier and quicker to put together

Which is less draughty

Which do you have?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments

Fiamma Zips the easiest but you have to buy it all in go and its not cheap.

Fiamma Awning you can buy on its own and add side blockers and a front blocker at less cost any time.

Fiamma privacy you can add later if you wish but you cannot buy a Zip awning on its own and a zip privacy later.

Example:

3m awning..................£380

Front blocker .............. £87

Side blockers................£97 each with windows = Total £661

3m Zip complete ..........£900 complete

3m Privacy room...........£530 + awning = £910

Less Funsters discount:thumb:and carriage free or you can collect, fitting if you wish depends on van, normally couple of hours.

Thanks for the offer tony, but it needs to be a fiamma 2.5m
Looks a lovely product I am sure it wont take long to sell

Well that solves one problem, Fiamma do not appear to make a 2.5m Zip awning.

So 2.5m awning is £345
Privacy Room is £520

Blockers £78 x 3 but best to speak to Darren about those.

Cheers so much Peter, phoned earlier and spoke to Darren he was really knowledgeable and helpful and I was very impressed.

But at that point I hadnt thought to measure because I thought the 45 bit meant 4.5 metres, it was only during our conversation that I realised I better check

Unfortunately with the grey stick out bits by our side top windows we cant get any bigger on than the 2.5 already there.

Am hoping the Insurance company will send it down to you for it to be done and have told them that you are our preferred choice but will have to wait for the Assessor to visit first and then for their decision.

Will keep you updated

its from a claim back in May when the wind took the awning and sides over the camper at about 5am one morning - no storm or anything had been forecast. Ripped all the pegs out of the ground and the awning metal bits made some lovely dents in the side and back of the camper.

As we had so many trips planned, they agreed with us to delay until we were ready. We have no more trips planned this year so are getting it done in time for next years trips

Have you had the dents sorted?

If you have it can be fitted while you wait.

No Peter, and as ours is and old van with the bubbled as opposed to smooth surface, I doubt much can be done. Am going in chat for 15 mins if you fancy it. (22.55pm)
