The idea is that users of those 7 or so sites click on the icon and 'bookmark' this page/post. In addition of the user having the page bookmarked it in theory helps publicise this forum as the sites list links back here, the more times it's been bookmarked the better.

You got it Greg, if you use any of those sites then clicking the icon can easily place that Fun post onto your social networking blog or whatever. That then places a link pointing back here. Google likes one-way inbound links as it makes us appear more important, an authority on all things motorhome.

If we have lots of people linking to us then Google assumes we are a quality site so to keep their search customers happy they will show them links to us rather than our competitors. That's the plan anyway::bigsmile:

Hmmmmmm.

We all love to hate M$ ( a bit or more depending on the person ) because of it's World Domination in the best Yankee tradition but slowly but surely Google is taking over the E world. Feeding us nice little goodies. Easing the cash out of us in subtle ways. It's even got the balls to aim it's guns at M$.

Should we be worried ?

I think you have a point Brian, they are getting a bit big and their influence on the e world is becoming greater. The thing is what would we do without them

Indeed. Great service to us. Then one day, in a blink of an eye, we could be serving them.

It's The American Way.

Now is it gonna be "in one day", or "in the blink of an eye," make your mind up

thanks for the answer to the likle buttons folks :thumb:
i think your right about google but m/s has got a tight grip
with us mugs and the makers that buy into their goods
think google is on the periphery at the moment
untill its in a position to produce an operating system
then there will be a fight and we will be the losers i seem to think:Doh::cry:
