Boo hoo Link Removed Been a great week away despite the weather. Had a walk every day and didn't get a soaking, at this time of year not bad. Ilkley is a lovely litle town very clean, grafitti clear and no signs of any hooliganism. Walk over Baht'at moor was grand, great views. No offense to any other areas but I have to say it's easy to see why Yarkie land is known as "gods own county". Enjoyed it so much we've booked again for a week in February. Now cabined up for the day as it's p.. p.. persistently raining down. ::bigsmile:

That doesn't look too much of a problem - or is it ?

Scares me to death with FWD and no grip. I was in Scotland Feb 2008 and there was that much snow but It meant I only just got up some hills. Needed a delicate foot to scrabble up them. I was showing -4 one morning. It was beautiful though. All the animal tracks and everything looks so clean.

Think that it's a wonderful sight fresh snow when you look out, snow covering tree branches, and every thing looking so clean. Then for a hearty fried breakfast before venturing out, to take some film.

Twas -10 at Cononley :Eeek: We try only to move the van to get there and back. In saying that we had to take it to Midgleys in Skipton for a job to be done and had no problems. ::bigsmile:

Now there's a quaint olde phrase.

Are you one of the last die hard film users ?

No went digital in the end, used to like proper film. Still thats progress.

Hi......we also like Ilkley. Very interested in which site you used as we are on the lookout for a good site. Trust it was okay, and how far from the town was it ?.......thanks in anticipation......Crindle.
