Sounds easy, but I'm looking for a site with everything I need - which is-
Quiet - no traffic or other loud noise (nervous dog)
Views - (budding artist)
Near a village with a shop and/or a pub -near being within 5 minutes walk
Good dog walk nearby without crossing any main roads -a lake walk is ideal.
Electric hook up
Small, not more than 20 pitches or so.
Just about any where in the UK willl be fine.
Many thanks

Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
ukcampsites.co.uk or ukcampsitefinder.co.uk both list sites geographically but also have filters that let you search for certain things. Might make a good starting point.

If you are in any of the CC or c&CC they have CL's and search filters also?

Hi Figaro - any more details please? Is it a CC or C&C site? I couldn't find it on Google, thanks.

Try looking for Tranquil Sites. Would seem to be what you want. tranquilparks.co.uk/adult-only-caravan-sites-and-campsites

Fit a solar panel, so you won't need the hook-up and go to France. (y):)
I could give you loads of lovely places that would suit you perfectly and some would cost you nowt.

Richard.

Hi Pb I see this thread has been around since February so I hope you have found plenty of nice spots by now. You live in Harefield just up the road from me in Watford. One of my favorites is the Suffolk coast and it is only a couple of hours away. You could start with the CL at the Vulcan arms at Sizewell which is right on the coast with some great dog walking and work the area from there.

Description from CC
Certificated Locations (CLs) are small, five-van sites that are reserved exclusively for Caravan Club members. There are around 2,500 of these hidden gems approved by The Caravan Club. CLs have become increasingly popular with members as holiday destinations for their picturesque rural settings and informal relaxed atmosphere.

Each CL is unique, whether on a working farm, large country estate, in the heart of the country or handy for a city. You can find CLs in pub grounds, near a beach, remote smallholdings by secluded rivers where you can fish, others by golf courses, a windmill or other historic landmarks. Almost anywhere you could imagine.

CL=Certified Location=Caravan Club 5 van site.
CS=Certified Site= Camping & Caravan Club version.

Both types are only open to members of the club (in theory) and limit stays to a maximum of 28 days.

Richard.
