Arr bless, such a funky little car. I remeber having lift in this car to the laundry at last year's Bagwell meet.

A friend is giving up motor homing and is selling up and his toad is much newer so a chance not to be missed.

Thanks

With the seats down the boot would more than big enough for a large dog plus the rear seats split in the middle I will take some photos in the morning.

I've actually driven this car, and it's a little smasher. (y)

If our situation required a "Toad", we'd be very interested in the sale.

Cheers,

Jock & Rita. :)

These wee cars are fantastic. I use our one every day as they are such a fun and usable car. The savings in fuel over our Toyota RAV4 are incredible. Zero road tax and 130 a year insurance mean running costs are very low. Try one of these if you've bought a Smart car and you will weep.... They are so good I bought the wife an automatic one.
Bargain at that price !

I looked for ages for a Toyota IQ toad before buying a car and spending 1180 quid having a very similar A frame set up fitted. Car cost me 5 large dead and as above 1180 quid and some effort and messing around. 5K in the bank is going to earn booger all in interest get it bought my friend ! With the rear diffuser and chrome pack it looks a right bonny wee motor.

The IQ was built by Toyota to get the the emissions target for the whole range in order. They built it to a real quality premium build quality and Toyota lost money on every car they sold. The build is excellent. This is not like an Aygo that feels like a yoghurt carton these cars are built like a Lexus.....

Room up front is amazing. I'm 6.4 and a big fella and I've had my mare whose a tree surgeon and built like a brick outhouse in it and there is lots of room in fact it amazes everyone who rides in it. The back seats are silly but I have it folded flat all the time. It could cope with a 3rd person behind the passenger seat but realistically it's a 2 up car. The gearing is tall in these cars and belting along the motorway is easy and effortless even at a bit over the limit.

The headlights are truly incredible. There is only one really powerful bulb in each headlight. The switch between dipped and main beam is taken by a wee electric motor which moves a flap inside the headlight. This results in the widest brightest spread of light imaginable... turning circle is a giggle. The whole suspension leg and assembly turns which is so so simple. I could go on but I bet most of you are asleep ??? Heloooooooooooooooooooo ?????

so its a cable??

Yes Chris is almost certainly is.. it has to be I think. I believe an electronic box can be used with the frame but that would be kinda pointless.

I chose simple mechanicals so I can set adjust and maintain if I want or need to. Electronics and I don't get on I for one wanted simplicity.
