Awe so cute :)
Our youngest have American names Indiana because her parents were American, full name Indiana Bones, so we continued it with Boston.

Geronimo (GER RON imo)

That was my cancer name ... he was a fighter and a winner against all odds on many occasions before his final captivity.. one of the Native Americans I admire.... but it might be too long for a dawgy.. :(

Aww cute - can understand your excitement.
I've been waiting for my retired greyhound to come home...
She arrived this lunchtime :D :party2:.
Now a period of adjustment for both of us, me sharing my space (and everything else ) and her to being a house pet rather than a kennel racing one.

That little puppy has no idea what a good interesting life it will have with you @Ron & Gerri (y)

Aww, so pleased for you. I think you should have both of them and call them Ant and Dec or Ronnie and Reggie :p

Geronimo (GER RON imo)
Not so clever as Joy's idea, but prompted by it:
GerRon (as in "gerron wi yer" [Yorkshire for MOVE or OFF YOU GO - or YOU MUST BE JOKING - whichever suits the occasion!] )

But - aw - aren't puppies just gorgeous :inlove:

A) can't afford both!
B) taught twin boys recently whose mother thought it a good idea to name them Ronnie and Reggie. I kid you not. And they were awful!!!

That's really cute! I like 'Indie' for ours but Ron is harder to convince!

Rough Collie. I had one years ago called Danny. He was so beautiful!!

Gerri, mine lived to be 16 and he came everywhere with me as I was self-employed.. he sat under my desk all day and we were best of friends ... I loved him and he worshipped me with his eyes ... the most loyal, gentle friend I have ever had...

He died when I was 35 and I still find myself choking up when I look at his photo. The best best best best dog in the world... Miss him still. :(

Just don't wear your rabbit-collared jacket, Steve ..... could be really traumatic for you. :)

Gorgeous name. Not quite right for a boy though. And my friend who is a dog trainer reckons 2 syllable names work best. Would love to see a pic of Kim if you have one.

Since the '80,s
I used to have a GSD from tiny, lovely pedigree, name much to long to use.
Ran a shop in Croydon and Saturday afternoons we got plenty of football hooligans in!
He sat quietly in his box at the back till I shouted Satan!!!
Moved on quickly after one or two barks, massive when fully grown but a gentle giant, sadly divorce forced me to give him to the RAF police.
They sent me word of his progress for nearly two years,I used to cry every time I got a letter for him, upset me more than the divorce.:(
