Peugeot Autocruiser front passenger seat (1 Viewer)

The seat seems really high and for no good reason. It's a swivel seat the same as the drivers one apart from
It seems to have a huge 'spacing frame' making it 4inches taller than the drivers seat. HRLP!! Richard.

Great question - ours is the same. Very odd. Have to put a cushion on the floor so my feet don't just dangle.
Can't see anyway of altering it.

is it a case of the drivers seat has been lowered to give a better view someone was selling a lowered seat box on here recently they fit both sides

Thanks for your replies. On long journeys the passenger gets positively 'seasick'! Does anyone know if its possible to replace both seat with new swivelling captains seats?

As you already have seat swivels I can only assume you mean can both seats be lowered.
Answer.....yes....unless your leisure battery is under the passenger seat in which case it will need relocating elsewhere.....
Last time I saw the lowered seat bases for sale at a show they were 70 quid each

This is my main niggle with our new to us Chausson on a Fiat. I'm about 5'3" and seat is too high. I'm going to try a cushion under feet but am concerned that a long journey could be v uncomfortable. Need proper solution.

it wont be type approved but exactly the same as the reduced height frames you can buy off the shelf
