How to keep towels fresh and dry (1 Viewer)

Drying towels on the move can be a problem.
We hang ours from the ceiling of our shower room, using trouser hangers which hang from self adhesive cable ties.
There's room for air to circulate between the towels and they dry quickly, without going fusty.

There is a hanging rail in our shower roof vent, but using it prevented us closing the mosquito blind.

We have three tension rods mounted between the washroom walls (left over cupboard keepers from our previous van) which we hang the towels on in damp weather. We have a rack that hangs from the bike rack for when it's better weather.

Steady on G. That's whats holding your walls up. :( If you had a Swift, you could wash them and dry them in the same location. (y)

We hang ours out on the fantastic sun drenched beaches at Skegness, where the gentle balmy breeze has them dry in a trice. (y)
Let me know next time they are sun drenched and the balmy breeze (gale ) is blowing,,BUSBY:D:D:D

I dry off in the shower with a micro fibre towel/face cloth and then by the time I put the towel around my modesty I am about "air dried" anyway, wring out the microfibre and the towel stays dry, or until Mrs Funflair uses it anyway.

I use a LifeVenture Trek towel - they airdry in minutes with no additional help.
Hang them outside whenever possible, this helps maintain their anitbac properties.
They come in lots of sizes from a huge bathsheet to pocket (I keep one of these in my rucksack for rainy walking days)
EDIT
They're not fluffy but they're very effective.
Oh - and they don't take up much space either!
And - the big ones make a good curtain if needed!

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
We've got some very fine , almost like velvet , microfibre towels.
The original "little big towel" by Luxelu.
Bath sheet size . They dry you like blotting paper , on an ink spot !
Then they dry themselves out in no time .
Plus they roll up away to nothing , almost . Unlike a regular towel of the same size .

2 micro fibre towels from decathlon which dry quickly hanging in the bathroom when on the move.
Like the use of the trouser hangers Robert.

I love my microfibre towel too ( one of the velvety ones). I use it in campsite showers to dry down, I then put it folded on wet floor to stand on whilst dressing. A quick wash out in the sink and hang out and it's dry and clean for the next day.

In the summer we hang ours in the shower too - got fitted hanging rails in there, so just drape them over those. In the winter we put them in the storage tray above the Alde boiler and below the seat cushion. Keeps them nice and warm.

Your good lady did mention your reluctance to change your underpants and socks. :) Not a problem. Crisp underpants always fit you better. (y)

They go on a hook/line in the living area :p
