We joined the CC&C yesterday at the Lincoln show.
Never wanted to before as we mostly use our motorhome
in France. But the main site we do use in UK has just been
made a CL and as you have to be a member we had no
choice if we wanted to carry on using it.
I hope we can get value from it by booking the tunnel with
them and getting the discount!(y)

Don't forget that if you are aged over 60 (I think) you can get a good 'seniors discount' at C&CC-managed sites for much of the year. Also the THS (Temporary Holiday Sites) are usually brilliant value, especially during high season/school holidays, when other sites can be expensive. They are also very flexible, with no need to book and stay 1 night or as long as you like - just turn up! (y)

not long enough
I don't mean to sound picky, but if the site you want to use has become a CL you might have just joined the wrong club o_O

A CL (certified location) is part of the CC system

I believe the C + CC call theirs a CS (certified site)? (y)

The main advantage we find with the C&CC is that the THSs and meets (mostly) do not have to be booked in advance. That means that if you fancy a weekend away at short notice there are usually plenty to choose from and you can just turn up.
