Bike/van theft Avignon (1 Viewer)

Hubby had his bike nicked while we were in Avignon today. Cut lock, 6 yr old cronk. Left mine tho. Sad, but c'est la vie. However, just letting funsters know that the Aire across the bridge for camping cars had several break-ins around noon today also. Cleared one completely; some other Brits in police station told us as theirs had got done. So be careful if in area. @eddievanbitz will be having a call from them on return, passed on the growler info.

Thankfully it was just 3 days before the end and we were able to hire from our campsite for 2 days.. We never leave them that long and with hindsight, should have gone back for them when we realised how far away the restaurant was that we were trying to find. We were gone 4 hours, asking for trouble really. Have a lovely time. Absolutely adore Provence

Thanks, looking forward to it - planning to cycle in the Carmargue so hoping the mozzies are also away on vacation!
Thing with the bike theft, could be taken in the first minute, or first hour so in that respect the time wouldn't have made a difference (just trying to make you feel better about it!).

We were speaking to a couple just before we left who had come up from the Carmargue, bit of a nightmare they said, mozzies everywhere, in sinks, loos and biting every cm. That was about 2 weeks ago. Just put lots of Avon Skin So Soft on
