Have a Autosleeper Cotswold
the water tank gauge is not given any readings always says empty
Have been told we need to descale inside to clean terminals that give water level readings
My question is what would I use to descale tank ?

Citric Acid..
white vinegar can leave a taint that's hard to remove.

I had to clean mine if you can reach put some brake cleaner on a rag,have to be quick as drys quick

I had the same issue, I just reached into the tank and wiped them with a clean cloth. Anything you use will taint the water or worse. I would not want to use any water that had been in contact with brake cleaner, have you seen what it does to a car's paintwork?

It's not possible to " reach in to tank " is it mine has a trauma pump to load water in to it ?

How did they fit the level sensor in the first place? If some one screwed it in then you should be able to screw it out.

Mine unscrews and lifts out for descaling - there is a large nut underneath accessible through the large ports in the tank.
