Motorhome owners spend £ millions a year on accessories and gadgets.

What are your favourite accessories?

And what's ended up in the cupboard and never been used?

Time to 'fess up' on those best buys and those expensive mistakes.

We love our hydraulic levellers and air suspension, and Mrs C loves our little onboard washing machine - spin dryer.

But we ripped out a Fiama fan assisted roof vent when our van was new to fit Air Condtioning - only used it a couple of times.
Wish we'd kept the fan instead

Sanef tag is brilliant. We love our Cadac Grillogas bbq and use it a lot. Hated the trolley Cindy purchased for waste fluids disposal runs, way too short for those of us who are of proper adult size, replaced accordingly. We also had a microwave in previous van which we never ever used.

when i converted the trailer to living van i fitted ehu. other than when i was doing the conversion have never used it . only been there 16yrs .
its there but never need it .
solar is the best kit i have fitted .
use that all winter when away for fridge etc . then at home a lead off inverter to the fridge in the house .
not so good at moment . short days and i want batteries full when i leave . so house fridge back on mains .
but solar is fantastic .

Best has to be the Avtex Snipe 2 satellite dish, brilliant piece of kit. Close second has to be the solar and inverter! Everything else gets used a lot, so none of them are the worst :D

No I didn't ! Just remembered how you boys waxed lyrical about your levellers in a thread!!
I'm not a boy I'm a man - a gentleman infact
I'm going to move hydraulic levellers to my 'hate' list now - just sayin

Great
Auto gas bulk tank so no more bottle swapping in the rain.
Solar and inverter also great as we can use everything as normal when wilding.
Not good
Aqua roll and pump takes up too much space, now using watering can as light and easier to store

ours makes lovely toast.. .. (y) but works best on the small picnic stove

must be the French LPG ;)
Maybe he forgot to put it on the stove?
We've got the single slice version (being on a diet) and it works a treat

Our best addition was the Gaslow system
Personally, we consider our worst and I know a lot will be shouting, nooooooooo, is the double skillet.
Our moho already had cruise control.
Decided against solar panels as when we go away we rarely stay more than 3 days and good batteries are a must.

USB sockets have been very useful - just bought another one, making a total of three double sockets. :)
