Mine's been my nickname since I was 19 and use it on many forums.

But I'm always interested where folk get theirs from.

Suppose, I'd better explain mine...

Every Friday we used to ride the bikes to our local, The Paraffin Arms in Bradford, for just the one pint, coz we we'd rather save for a new bike, rather than piss it up against the wall.

One Friday, I went in pub as usual, to be told it was a birthday and we were all off down town. So I put my GT750 in the beer garden and my biking gear behind the bar for safe keeping.

Roll on Saturday afternoon when I went in for my gear. The lid was a white Kangol full face

The landlord brought it out on a silver tray into the middle of the pub. He'd wrote on it "Alas poor Yorick" as it sort of resembled a skull.

And it sort of stuck ;)

Mine is our dogs name.

Charlie because he's 1/2 Cavalier.
Minton because sometimes he's a bad Minton.

= Charlie Minton.

GT750? Suzuki Kettle? I had one of them in blue - nice bike in a straight line when not eating Pistons

I'm female & a scouser :D

We never noticed, Helen........

Mine came from the name of my first boat, which was named after a not very good rock group. I later came across their drummer on another forum........

I inherited our motorhome from my sister Sandra who sadly passed away just over 2 years ago. SOS stands for Spirit of Sandra as I feel her with me whenever we are off on our jollies x

Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
Mine needs no explanation really. As a child we always thought of the snail having his/her home on their back - in the MH we take our home with us.

Derek thought of the name initially - in a hurry when we were signing up - I'd like to change it to something else but haven't had a better idea.
