hi.

is a modified sine inverter ok to charge batteries on our 2 leccy bikes

and what size inverter do you think is needed

You will need to say what the bike battery charger spec is and do you want to charge two at once or one at a time. I think that modified will be OK but somebody else will have input when you post the extra info.

We use a 800 watt modified sine (€50 from Andorra) to charge 2 36 volt batterys but it pulls a lot out of hab batterys very quickly
If it's sunny I usually do 1 at a time and let solar panels put a bit back in before doing 2nd one
