Warning- take care where you use Huawei mifi (1 Viewer)

Just got an unexpected £11 bill because we accidently connected to a maritime service. So take care at ports and especially never use on ferries. Sorry if someone has posted this before but it caught us out

Good advice, a few people have been caught by this before.

It's a useful reminder as it's a satellite based service and therefore expensive. This is a description of the Brittany Ferries system, no doubt other companies have something similar. I've had a warning text from O2 on my phone, telling me about being "out of roaming area" but a text message to a MiFi is likely to be missed.
