has anyone been able to park their motorhome near the sea front or in the town of Dinard. It look a little unfriendly to motorhomes from what I can see on Google earth. Any advice appreciated.

Well there are possibly two I know of - maybe too far from the centre for you.
Bear in mind I drive a campervan and not a 30' giant.
I've used 48.63917, -2.07301 to park up for a few hours. Not sure if it was legal but nobody asked me to move and didn't see any unfriendly signage. Lovely spot with nice outlook.

The other, close by, is at 48.63667, -2.08053.
Sadly you'll need a Blue Badge and a car sized MH - you may just have both. Also a nice spot.

Happy hunting.

Off topic I know but is that a bichon/caniche in your pic?
Hi, its a caniche, much travelled in France and veteran of trains, busses and boats. Some think the caniche is a French dog but it actually come from Germany. We see so many Jack Russel's when we are in France we say that's the national dog of France. Of course we know it isn't but is there one?

In this area possibly one of the several types of hunting dog (incl. caniche of course) though bichons are very popular but never common.
