Feels like an eternity since we left our wonderful, beautiful Provence, tho in reality we only got back first week of July .... ahem !! However, like a pair of Hobbits with brekky, we're off for second hols on Thurs evening. Plan is head South as usual, this time we're spending 2 weeks around the Luberon, finishing off in our beautiful, gorgeous fave St Remy. Finished packing up Jumbo this evening and gave a big smile to our funster sticker. On the 2250 eurotunnel. Anyone else off this week or heading down south ? :wine::france::cycle::sun:

Not for another two weeks :( when we cross to Roscoff.
Saint Rémy? Is that the bit below Avignon? https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...2!3m1!1s0x12b5e431ac6048f3:0xb5f2d15b520e77dd
Yes, it's absolutely beautiful. First visited cos we were too tired to drive on to Biot/Nice, fell in love and have been there twice a year since. Just a few days at the end of our hols fore we head up. wonderful van Gogh stuff there and if you go end of june beginning of July the lavender around his sanatorium is beautiful.

Ile de Rae one of our absolute favourites, post some photos please, nothing like a picnic hamper on the bike, call at the local markets for fresh baguette cheese and chilled wine maybe calling in at La Flotte at the Oyster house and enjoying a few so fresh, we've spent many an hour under the big tree at the harbour in St Martins picnicking and people watching , please share some photos. :)

@Mousy - please make a note of the above in our tour itinerary.

Carol, thanks for that, it sounds lovely. As you can see I've passed your message on to my tour secretary! ;) They've been there before and as they are fans of oysters they will no doubt know the Oyster House.

We are really looking forward to the trip and you will be bombarded by photos in our blog - as yet unnamed..... Watch this space!

We are at La Mailleraye and have been here for a week.
The weather is lovely and although we keep saying we will move on tomorrow, tomorrow never seems to come.
Just chilling by the river, a bit of sun, then a while in the shade. 'Tis a hard life but we must move on tomorrow......................perhaps.

Richard.

@cliffandger ..... @Carol sums up one of our favourites things to do on Ile de Re. The market at Blois Plage is a good one for getting the picnic
