A = 129cm (internal)
B = 33cm (internal)

I had them remove it from the 2008 Hymer B544 I just bought. It seems in excellent condition, Wiring still connected at Tow Bar socket. No real signs of wear on Ball.

I even have a 2 bike "V- type" bike carrier I'll throw in as well. The carrier plate fits between towball and tow bar, you then slot 2 long bars into the plate which hold the bikes. Old fashioned but I've used it all over France for years.

Buyer collects from Andover in Hampshire (off A34 and A303) It is a substantial piece of steel, don't come by Bicycle.

Nearest offer to £100 by the end of August gets it. First offer of £100 gets it.

Shame.

If anyone wants to get really accurate to the mm then I'll re-measure as best I can. (Such as the bolt hole spacing..etc).

Yes please. Seeing as @scotjimland isn't in the frame anymore, could we have second refusal please? Our Alko chassis is 127 CM wide, with side bolt holes at 145mm apart.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Update.....A further measurement reveals a chassis width measurement of 128cm, so it certainly looks like a goer. What I don't understand Jim, is that your chassis is only 115cm wide, when it is a younger model than ours. :eek:

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Good grief Anthea, you're quick off the mark. :LOL:

No, not yet, and certainly not with plans to travel to Spain. ;)

That has to be the only reason Jim, as the bodies are the same width.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

OK, getting a bit more accurate. The width A in the above photo is 1284mm. The width of A at the beam is 1288mm (so the ends may need to be sprung apart 4mm).
I'd guess that Hymer quote 1285 for the width of the chassis. That would be snug and perfect I reckon.

C = 165mm to centre
D = 310mm to centre (Edit)

C-D = 145mm

Both taken from the internal face of "beam".

I have some caliper gauges if we need to get super accurate on bolt spacing. I wouldn't want to drill those plates.
