Going to put the beast away (in a warehouse) for the winter soon and I want to give it a good clean first. Is the entire roof area safe for walking on and cleaning, or just part of it?

hi Norrie, normally only up to the cab area is recomended, although I can on mine walk on the cab. However of course it will depend on what you weigh and how many people you want to take up there with you::bigsmile:

Jeez that was quick!
I don't want to take anyone up there with me - in fact I don't really want to go up at all but the roof looks really filthy.
There's a roof rack so you must be able to get to it safely.......:Eeek:

i potter about on my kontiki roof and im 17st.

DONT walk on the overcab bulge and dont go too near the roof vents.

little 'uns are ok but the very edges of the big heki roof lights will be a weak spot.

Thanks guys.
I now know that, as I'm an athletic 15 stone (HA!), I shouldn't fall through the roof if I stay away from bulges and vents.
I also know that if I don't secure the ladder I could be up there for a long, long time.
I'll send her up on Saturday. ::bigsmile:
