Any idea how to clean the roof light in the washroom/toilet ? ours is a yellow colour and badly mildewed. It's difficult to get at too.

Been up on the roof and done all 3 of ours today, just used small bucket with some fairy and cream cleaner and used a small sponge followed by some Method (which is a cleaning agent) and come up like new - no doubt someone will be along to say i didnt do it correct or i wasnt using the right products but this is what i used and i am bloody pleased with it.

Do they come apart easy enough ? I mean do they unattach from the roof easy

The outer often cream in colour frame, is fixed and sealed to the roof
But as for the inner framework and clear perspex parts removal is relativity easy and varies from make to make

Since 2015
Mine appears to be two sheets of opaque perspex and they get dirty between and no apparent way of cleaning easily.
Has anyone encounter these and found a solution ?

Cheers, did mine tonight, being a kitchen fitter i have all the correct tools but the small T10 torx screws were a bugger to get out, being very tight. Already looks better and brighter.

This is the Hymer bathroom roof light with ventilation.. .. and I haven't found a way of cleaning.. the two panes are welded together ...

The new replacement window doesn't have the ventilation holes.. it's the same as the big lounge roof light only opaque ...
