Heading into Edinburgh for the day . Anyone know where we can park , then use public transport . Entering Edinburgh from the east side of Scotland and heading in the direction of Glasgow.

Where is that please ? I also looked at the park n ride website earlier and they were showing height restrictions at some..others said nothing. There is a ,large park and ride near the show ground. Motor home spaces and frequent buses to city centre.

Super job thanks . Yar read on the website about 2-4am vehicles will get towed away .. At least I know I can fit in it... ThanksIngliston park and ride fine for Motorhomes, follow signposting from airport turnoff. Free bus into city centre but no overnighting allowed.
Festival and fringe activity in full flow, city is packed and the sun is shining, you will have a ball!
Get off at Waverley station and take a walk through the gardens below the castle or walk up to the "old town", lots to see and do.

Height restrictions are shown as specific additional information. Where no restrictions are given there are none.I also looked at the park n ride website earlier and they were showing height restrictions at some..others said nothing.

Totally agree, both on the ticket and the tram. We found that when we were staying at Dalkeith a couple of weeks ago.If you don't have a Scottish bus pass it's worth paying £4 for an all day tram and bus ticket. You can go all over the city with that. There's a tram stop by the Ingliston park and ride and it is by far the fastest way of getting into the city. Enjoy! Mags
